The science is indeterminate, as I indicated. That means, "We don't know."

We do know that at 23 weeks the use of anesthesia blocks the stress response, which to some suggests nothing and to others it suggests there is pain occurring.

Babies cry soon after birth. Preemies cry too. Yet, Weiner boy thinks they don't have sentience and probably can't feel anything?
