Yeah, I'm not really sure where they go from here.

One of my customers was ordering some PCs today and I suggested they consider SSDs instead of HDs. They called me back and said the 500GB would add a couple hundred bucks and the 1TB would add a little over a hundred more. Starts to feel like a no-brainer and I'm sure they'll soon be as cheap as HDs.

With hard drives or 3rd level memory, cost is far more important than performance......always has been, don't know if NAND can be that competitive..

Time to short Seagate etc

People have been saying this since Flash came around and again with NAND. It's amazing what these guys keep coming up with to stay well ahead of the NAND guys. I would love to know what the material is they are using as the resistive change element.
