A lot of people are looking damned foolish over this about now. That the number of people who are concerned about GW has dropped radically suggests they just weren't willing to buy the PR campaign. When you have GW "scientists" calling for the death penalty for non-believers and a few brave scientists willing to say, "We were wrong," the wheels have started to come off of the GW argument. OTOH, politicians, who sense a pot of vote-getting gold, are more committed than ever. Right, left, it doesn't matter because it is trough at which the hogs can slop.
