Win10 seems a little faster than 8.1 - programs work - even the old 123 spread sheet. Windows Media Player is still there [there was some talk it would not be available in 10]. Right Windows key brings up most used programs. Have not tried Cortana and Edge [MS browser] yet.

Up-Grading to Win10 should go smoothly.

Being able to boot either Win 10 or your current OS in a dual-boot configuration will be more difficult.

I'm working on it.

On the safe side, imaging your drive before the upgrade is a good idea.
