Does anybody on this thread have access to the details of DataQuest reports ? It costs me too much to buy such a copy of one report ($1295).

One report they issued on Dec. 8, 97 has DUV stepper projections up to 2002, and more. It will be really nice if we can see those numbers.

In their abstracts, they mentioned phrases such as "DUV steppers, a bright spot." However, on their Sept. report, their title was "DUV steppers, is the light dimming ?" So, we may have seen a shift of sentiment since Sept., based on the kind of words they chose.

>>> I think these stock prices just about reflect the demise of the industry <sic>. They are way undervalued and have a doomsday scenario priced into them, that's one reason why I find them so attractive. <<<

No doubt. Apparently, technology has reached it's peak and is now going to begin stage a full reversal. Progress and evolution don't exist. We must all prepare our huts in the trees and caves in the hills...we will be foraging for nuts and berries and hunting wooly mammoths, in no time.
