The Reagan administration defied Congress and made secret illegal deals to supply Iran with weapons so the Iranians could pay for Reagan's illegal operations in Latin America. This led Congress to have a large number of Reagan administration officials investigated and prosecuted. Of course Reagan said he couldn't remember doing any of this, which was likely true. That's what changed. I'm sure Congress would have people in the Obama White House prosecuted if they did anything prosecutable. Perhaps House Republicans and Tea Party reps are merely Obama's timid lapdogs? Ha, ha. What sort of person would arm Iran and also providing advanced weapons and training for the group of Saudis and other Middle East Jihadists who later became known as the Taliban and Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan? What sort of President would create 9/11 and steal $2.7 trillion from Social Security and Medicare funds while drowning the US government and US Economy in debt? — Just a rhetorical question.
