What happens as I understand it: A has no one on ignore. B has A on ignore. B temporarily undoes the ignore on A so he can see one of A's posts. B posts a public reply to A then immediately puts A back on ignore so they don't need to see A's response to B's post. B is carrying on a one way conversation - He never has to see what A is saying but he shoves posts into A's face. That is scummy behavior and while I don't think SI condones it, their site allows it.
