Try and stay with me. Maybe get a 4th grader to help you thru the hard parts.

I do get power for free, cuz I not only sell power to PGE, they give me about $60 in carbon tax credits.
That doesn't mean I don't get billed. I'm charged about $4.50/month, for transmission, distribution, public purpose programs, nuclear decommissioning, bond payments etc.
Right now, with 2 months left in the yearly billing period, I still have $14.35 credit. With my best 2 months coming up, I've sold them 323 KWH, so my credit for next year is already $52. Ask me in Sept for my totals.
