Unless you count socialized stop signs, which make you stop when driving on socialized roads, that's one of the 4 biggest lies of all time. If you do count them, preserve your personal freedom by getting rid of your car.

That is nonsense.

In the old system, we paid even more for it through lack of preventative care and wasting uber expensive emergency rooms as doctors offices, losing productivity from preventable or treatable illness, to destroyed families due to medical bills and medical bankruptcy.

The hospitals, most of whom are for profit, are now getting paid, too and have calmed way-way down.

The real ripoff and economic drain libertarian conservatives should be enraged about was Billy Tauzin's massive partisan Medicare subsidy to Pharma, before he left the House to swiftly become a mega million dollar salaried lobbyist for... Pharma.
And the people who love their socialized medicine are the ones who aren't having to pay for it.
