There's an article in yesterday's Chicago Tribune on Al Dunlop's visit
with RS Miller of WMX. Dunlap is quoted as saying he's not interested in the job and that there's "little chance" of a turnaround at WMX.

Pancho--I didn't 'click' on Dunlaps name until I saw the posts here.
I agree I would not short a company he is involved with. The guy feels his primary job is to represent the shareholders (owners as he puts it). On the other hand he does not seem to want in on WMX. That the company wanted him is a bullish indicator though. I will have to see who they do get. There are some other 'Chainsaw' specialists out there. The fact Dunlap declined is bearish and my research showed this company to be a very viable short. Considering the overstated earnings and current legal problems with shareholders (perhaps one reason they wanted a high profile turn around specialist) my target is 15.
