Ok, plain potato-based gnocchis are not bad. They don't have a lot of taste as one might expect. They are somewhat sticky with a firm texture unless you overcook them. In which case they are more sticky and a somewhat mushier texture.

They are good in a basic red sauce...or with butter and sage.....very easy to add....along with some good pecorino romano cheese over the top.........
