Its the socioeconomic consequences of historical injustices that led to this mess. All things being equal, being born dark skinned in America usually brings a larger generational debt associated with it than white.

40 years ago I emigrated to Germany, spoke almost no German back then.
I worked there (in sales!) for 4 years before I opened my own business.
My company did very well and I sold out to a Japanese top 100 TSE corporation 35 years later.

I am Swedish :)
