I suggest starting your Windows 10 download/installation before you go to bed tonight.

That way there will probably be less traffic on the Microsoft server.

Also the two successful Windows 10 installations I have done were direct downloads.

I tried making an ISO disk in the beginning, but that didn't work and the installation crashed.

Lastly, your chances of a successful Windows 10 installation will be better if you do a clean install.

golfer72, I read it's important to do all upgrades to your existing Windows before downloading 10.
