Right, oh hey, it's just the "hardliners"...... It's just the guys that will have their fingers on the nuke button..... What I want to know is just how Oblahblah gets away with these ignorant statements..... The guy is living in some alternative reality. Come to think of it, he's just exhibiting a character trait that's endemic to the democrat party.... The ability to base policy on the way they want the world to be, rather than the way it is......

'Just because Iranian hardliners chant 'Death to America!' does not mean that's what all Iranians believe' ... Barack Obama Obama is not clueless enough to believe that the views of 'the people of Iran' have any impact on its decision-makers. He is simply counting on the ignorance of the American people, assuming they will read this tweet and be comforted by the fact that 'the people of Iran' are not our enemies. I suspect that most Americans still are not aware that the Iranian government continues to repress their own people every bit as much as their leadership intends to 'repress' (vast understatement) America. Religious and ethnic groups, including Christians, Arabs, Kurds, Baha'i, Azeris, and others are regularly are subjected to arrest, torture, prosecution/persecution and death. And I would imagine that expressing any type of support for Western culture would amount to reason for such oppression. And yet the American president believes (maybe rightfully so?) that the American public will swallow the idea that we should take solace in the fact that these oppressed people may 'like us' more than their leadership. How incredibly degrading it is that one of the most powerful tools in the American president's political tool box is the fact that he believes that he can readily play his own people for fools in order to further his own anti-American agenda.
