You said the "Ring of Fire" had a cooling effect. It has been very active and isn't cooling anything. It appears the activity if anything has a warming effect.

In Florida, we've had 70+ days over 90 this year. In the summer, we typically have 25,000 to 30,000+ ppm of greenhouse gases. There's also a 12-month growing season. No hurricanes for over a decade. Sea-level rise...LOL!
