Mines are easy to find, what is enormously difficult is raising the money to go out and find them.

Thayer Lindsley used to say that they were dead easy to find compared to getting people to help you develop them. Ask Echo Bay. They never could find good help for Contwoyto Lake.

Good tracking software is nice. Find all kinds of relationships. Best I have seen is Jim Csek's volatility marking system. But his program lacks sophistication in certain areas that keeps it from being a crowd pleaser. But he admits that if the fundamentals are necessary or you are firing blind. A program that would, in addition, force you to go out and get the dry cold facts on management and properties and tie that rating to the curves, would be a boon as it would force objectivity and reduce the impulse buying, that "rumour-fact", is supposed to be the money maker. Not saying penny-gold is a panacea but it may be a type system to layer on a methodology of gut. In fact a lot of my picks, regardless of what I knew about the stock, are derived from market action indicators.
