"Code words and dog whistles" like "dog whistle?"

The Dems are surely enjoying Trump. But the reality is that Trump isn't in this race. He's had his run, he has failed, and now the legitimate candidates have plenty of room to run.

The Republican lineup is packed with people who would be better than Clinton or Sanders. Yes, the lineup will thin out, but there are great candidates standing like Rubio, Cruz, Carson, Fiorina, and others. Almost any of these [nearly 20] candidates would be better than what we have or what the Democrats have to offer. The only Dem who might even be in the same ballpark with the Republicans is Jim Webb, and he's probably not going to get out of single digits among Dems.

If a Democrat candidate does get elected it will be to finish the country off.

The leadership wants very badly to get rid of Trump. They fully realize what his attraction is, he doesn't use code words and dog whistles. They resent that Santorum had too hide behind "blah people" instead of saying "black people". They love Trump saying that all immigrants are rapist, thieves, murderers and pedophiles. Or aspire to be. They believe this is true because Fox tells them it is true.

And now they have to save Fox while destroying Trump by making his latest outburst about menstrual blood. Uninviting him from the Red State hoedown in Atlanta was their way of firing a major salvo. They better hope it doesn't backfire.

BTW have you ever heard Erich Erickson, the guy who puts on the hoedown, speak? He's barely literate.........and is about as dumb as they come. And yet, he has become very prominent in GOP politics. It shows just how far the GOP has fallen.

As for Trump, something tells me he's not finished yet no matter how much the GOP wishes it were true. The GOP base doesn't want to be politically correct........it wants to use the racial terms its been raised on. It wants to believe whites are the superior race. It wants to believe a wall will keep the wrong people out. And that's why they love Trump.
