CO Well, well, well. I can see by that rant filled with slanders and juvenile name calling that you choose not to follow my advice. My my, Is this an example of "non-personal strong ideological words"? And all this in response to a post in which I implored you not to be so caustic and rude but rather to offer your arguments for progressive positions and let them rise of fall based on their own merits. I must admit CO that I am shocked at your response to my plea for civility. I have no respect whatever for left wing progressive ideology. I believe it to be grossly in error. I believe its tenants to be contrary to the very nature of man and therefore, as it has proved many times, to be unworkable, unsustainable and consistently doomed to failure. It is as "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury signifying nothing." Your rants against conservatives filled with childish slanders more suited for a grade school play ground than an adult conversation has done nothing to change that opinion. I am forced to ask is it because there are no valid arguments in favor of progressive liberal ideology. Is it just a feel good philosophy espoused by pseudo intellectuals in an effort to demonstrate some form of self gratifying superiority over the common man? Does it have any substance or roots in reality or is it just an unworkable ideology that has been formed without any reference to the reality of man's nature? I believe progressive liberal ideology to be inconsistent with reality. My advice to you once again. My advice to you, if you desire to have a dialogue that profits all, would be to stop applying derogatory labels to those with whom you disagree and allow the weight of your arguments alone to hold sway. The use of demeaning attacks by branding or name calling by you only adds further resistance to your positions.
