how can that be you said the economy is great, unemployment at like 2% there's jobs every where, Obama has said everything is coming up roses

Precious, what's happening in DC is not the norm. Federal gov't cutbacks are what's causing its problem. Until this year, the DC metro has had employment growth of <1% since the Great Recession. Its hard to keep offices filled with job growth that low. And its becoming a structural problem thanks to Rs starving the federal gov't.........which has led to many agencies barely functioning.......SS, IRS, and the PO as prime examples. Of course, you knew all that.........or you should as a DC metro resident.

Who knows..........the DC metro maybe become the new Rust Belt.
