>> The GOP base doesn't want to be politically correct........it wants to use the racial terms its been raised on. It wants to believe whites are the superior race. It wants to believe a wall will keep the wrong people out. And that's why they love Trump.

Yep, and here are the standings. Trump.

Then, two Hispanics, a woman, and a black. Four out of the top five.

Uh..........this is the first time that a woman, a black, a Latino and a Hispanic have made it to near the top of the polls. Will they maintain that level going forward? Hmmmm.

And still Trump.....well trumped the poll.....AFTER the debate. That speaks volumes and so does this:

The surprise result from the poll might have been businesswoman Carly Fiorina's performance. 22% said she won the debate, besting Trump, Sen. Marco Rubio and Cruz. In overall support, she came in fourth with 8% of Republican primary voters saying they would support her in a primary or a caucus. This may not seem like a lot, but she had a gain in support of six points, which was the second highest in the poll. Fiorina may have benefited from stepped up media coverage due to her performance in the so-called "Happy Hour" debate that aired on Thursday before the prime-time event.

Fiorina won the debate and still came in fourth in single digits. Progress? Not so much. And she is still an idiot. At least R candidates are starting to talk better in public.......a huge improvement over the Palins.

And of course, there is even a bigger problem for the GOP..........the eventual candidate, Jeb Bush, is in single digits. So sorry.

The Dems, of course, a while woman and an old white man.

And elected a black man as president. Enough said.
