Rocky, shut up.

I don't get it. Do you or don't you own stock? Since you said you bought some, I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you did not lie.

So, why would you continue to spew out banalities on a stock where you would hopefully make money some day? This latest tirade on your part just goes to diminished what little credibility you already don't have.

BTW, you like Intel, don't you? Was Intel guilty of raping their customers? Doesn't Intel still own over 90% of their market? Did Intel go out of business when they lost 10% of their business? Didn't the market grow enough for them to continue posting record revenues and profits?

I'm begging you. Please go away until you have something intelligent to say. You are becoming increasingly predictable and monotonous and stupid. And, those on the thread are beginning to despise you even more than they have in the past - not due to your contrary opinions, but due to your increasing lack of credibility.

The main point to consider is that of forward and backward compatibility....it really doesn't matter if the disk or drive were changed. Losing compatibility will create a mess for IOM and the customer.

On the CC held the other day, the issue of Nomai and IOM's potential loss of revenue, estimated to be 10%, was fully discussed. The analysts were in agreement that this would not harm IOM nor its stock appreciation potential. Did you listen to the CC? If not, go out to the site and listen to a replay of the CC, or download a copy of the transcript.

So, the question is, who should we believe....you or the analysts. I for one must vote for the analysts. (Unless you are an analysts in good standing with the financial community.) It seems to me that your comments are off the "top of your head" and very personal in nature; eg, intended to drive down the stock price. I can not see where wishful thinking is going to affect the stock price.

Anyway, its a free country, so continue to post as you see fit.

<<This lawyer is using a very effective argument, and as a result, Iomega is seeing its
monopoly on Zips start to crumble. Can Iomega survive as a company with 10% of
its Zip disc revenue going to Nomai? Absolutely. But this situation will do nothing
but harm IOM stock price, which is why we're all here in the first place. IOM stock
will take a hit as fully 10% of Iomega revenue vanishes. >>

Rocky, you are in dire need of going back to school. This may shock you, but 90 > 89. I know, I know, being a "genius," you thought you had learned everything. I suggest you get back to school and take some math classes.

The analysts are saying they have figured that 11% of disks next year will be made by non-Iomega sources. You saying that Iomega losing 10% of disk sales instead of 11% of zip sales will hurt Iomega because it is a worst outcome is plain stupid.
