Agreed On The BBC. Always look forward to their World Reports. No,I was not refering necessarily to American.I was thinking at the time of mainstream FINANCIAL publications in North America.I would have thought those would be above the senationalist tendacies of the publications directed to JQP,but I am proven wrong time and time again.Financial/ business mainstream publications are directed to those wishing to go beyond the smaller sections of local rags,in hopes of gaining insight into events and conditions that affect his or her business or invest- ments. They are a must for investors who make their own decisions, and would be expected to take unbiased positions and print well researched information with impunity. Can you or others here state this is the reality?Probably not, thus my reference to this thread and other means of flushing out the truth,or at least comparing notes..etc.... I was approached one day on the street here in Vancouver by a lady from The (Toronto) Globe And Mail...touted as Canada's National Business Daily.I told her I generally enjoy the publication, but find it to be " a little anti-mining " in sentiment. Her response was....... " Isn't everyone anti-mining?".Hmmmmmmm. So you see,all I was getting at is we need to look beyond the main- stream and get the facts before putting our hard earned dollars on the line.To base decisions on media coverage only would be disasterous, but many find themselves there,in the market or sector or whatever,at the top of a cycle or without having being informed of other influences that eventually make their way down to the little guy.(You And Me?)
