Hi Tommaso: I have been to the sites also. I think we share the same view of the market. However, I am bearish but not a bear. I would switch to bullish if we had new highs in each of the NASDAQ, DJI, and SPX. I cannot see that happening though.

I think everything will be settled one way or the other by the 16th of January. If money does not go into the market early, it will leave quickly. At that point, I expect to get a bear confirmation in the DJI--somewhere below 7100. After that the SPX will follow. By then all my short positions will be set or I will be staring at a lot of cash.

I got a kick out of your comments on Mohan's thread about cross-dressing and transvestite bears. I stay on this thread because its members keep me thinking. They keep challenging my bearish ideas.

Yep, I think the majority is in denial: they see the imminent drop
in earnings, but don't think a real bear can happen. After all,
stocks always go up, don't they? They just "pause" sometimes.
