I keep thinking that part of the Bearded One's problem in seeing how this particular business model is that he has an aversion to razors and blades. ;-)

PS: My wife is starting to get miffed that I am procrastinating on this thread instead of working on getting our home in shape for the Christmas festivites. She has a good point.

Isn't the Internet great?

The number of razor blades consumed per razor is not independent of the price of razors. Consider the ultimate scenario where razors are free. I'll take 3000 razors please. No razor blades, thank you, I am the Bearded One.

As you move into different price points, different buying patterns emerge.
