Steven & Thread, the problem with DELL is similar to the problem with the Blue Chips only different-Corporate profits in 1998. Considering that the world growth numbers have been revised (see DJ news), the slowdown of growth in earnings in DELL versus the S&P should be small.
This reminds me of a rising rate enviroment which should be good for tech in general and poor for the S&P type stocks.

IMPO, Wall Street will put a premium on growth in this enviroment and DELL will do fine.

Hank blew it and became toast on his last short. If he doesn't cover he
will be toast again.

Take care,

Michael

Steven,

<I was just quoting Hank about TA. In my opinion TA is only useful for seeing what has already happened. Hanks's contention that stocks tell the future has been proved wrong so often that it's not worth arguing>

Ask Paul Levy how I am doing with his stock selection he gave me to put my TA to the test!

It's also funny how Greg has called the market so well by using TA also!

Looks to me that TA is winning over FA now!
