Or they could have left 10,000 troops there to prevent the GENOCIDE of the Yazidis. That is what an intelligent person would have done - PREVENT GENOCIDE.

Bullshit. We will need a presence in the middle east into perpetuity. Iraq was relatively stable at that time and still would be if we had left troops. What would ISIS be if we were still there? Not much.

In 2010, Obama and Biden were calling Iraq an Obama success story. We left a troop presence in Europe, Japan, and Korea and the result was long term stability. The absence of an American presence would have invited aggression from outside those countries / regions. That's what happened in Iraq .. ISIS invaded from Syria and Iran came in as defenders of the Shiites from ISIS.

I think Obama, like most liberals, deep down wanted disaster in Iraq and achieved it.
