Looked around the web and there seems to be quite a bit of issues with the eVGA 960 series cards. Too bad. I used to resell them and always liked them. In fact I believe my media system has two eVGA cards in it (dual display for 4 outputs). A lot of recommendations to make sure the motherboard BIOS is up to date (although that shouldn't really affect the display output...but could have issues talking to the board)...also make sure the drivers are up to date. Other option is possibly a HDMI to VGA adapter (some require a plug in wall wart power supply - this one doesn't):
