Metacomet, without Obama's leadership in this economic crisis, we would have been toast I for one don't think Obama really demonstrated any leadership in his first term, except in his insistence on pushing ObamaCare. The bailouts only helped state governments get through the recession and acted as a political slush fund, as I mentioned before. Economic cycles happen. The best thing government can do is stay out of the way. To suggest that Obama made the recovery happen is like suggesting that the sun wouldn't have rose in the east without his "leadership."
