Has this entire thread been conditioned by the onslaught of a few shorters?? Once upon a time, the ability to prove that FL actually had gold was considered a mile stone. Now are we saying, despite 3 oz/ton gold numbers (and who knows how majestically high the platinum will be), that it will take an operational pilot plant to get significant stock appreciation?

This is not my opinion at all. Once we get certification, decent PR coverage, and the Naxos story is spread, the stock price will rise a whole lot. If just one mutual fund decides to buy in, the $/share will blip more than 1 dollar.

And what about all those financing possibilities? Maybe a venture capitalist might sign up for 5 or 10 million in the next few months. Have we not endured "any day pending financial backing could occur at the drop of a hat" rumors for at least a year? Just suppose that it actually starts to really occur.

I still feel that the bulk pilot demo is the ultimate test of legitimacy, but if large gold and platinum (maybe palladium too some day) are certified, then the odds that some institutional investors may try this stock out in the near term are very, very high. (after all, can't they speculate, read the SI thread, and buy stock just like you and me?)

I agree with you that producing PM out of small production lots at the pilot lab will be the true litmus test of this stock. However I think there will be more hole testing in the interem period between Ledoux certifing numbers and the start up off the plant. Testing the other four holes will give a better idea as to the consistency of the playa. I would suspect more drilling in the future to get an even better view of how the material is disperesed throughout the lake. Where would you want to start digging, at a point you felt there was the greatest certaintity of success or anywhere we have drilled a hole.

I think after we will see price movement after each stage of development. How can we determine the value of the stock if we do not have an better idea of how much material we have to process. By the way do you have an idea of the number of acres that are minable? The last David Snow article I saw had over 300 acres including the pan handle.
