Brumar, IMO they wanted disaster because our involvement began with Bush ... thus it couldn't be allowed to end well. That's the excuse they'll give once things go back to hell in a handbasket. You already see it with ISIS. Just a few years after Obama and Biden declared victory in Iraq, ISIS rears its ugly head and liberals predictably blamed Bush. If you think about it, that's the primary reason why liberalism fails every single time it's been tried. There is no sense of personal responsibility.
