Hillary is a politician completely untethered to the truth. People hate her arrogance and sense of entitlement.
The ONLY reason why she still enjoys a strong base of support is that people think she will be an effective leader who won't let anything get in the way of her supposedly liberal agenda.

Lying, cheating, and stealing is just part of the game. As long as it's their woman who's doing it, it's OK.

Besides, you need someone as powerful as she to take on those oh-so-evil Republicans, AMIRITE?
