I don't know where you get your news but I hear about black on black crime all the time.

Yes, but the media doesn't obsess over it like winger media does. As less has shown, unless the corporate-owned media obsesses over winger obsessions in a similar manner, that is tantamount to ignoring it.

Notice how they run away from white on white crime? As the data clearly shows, the bulk of it is poverty related. It is also pretty clear that black on black crime is the same, once you break it down by income. The reasonable conclusion is that if you are really serious about black on black crime, the solution is to allocate resources to jobs and better income.

But that isn't the solution they want to hear.

Ted,
That doesn't make any sense. Who fears discrimination more than violent crime? No one I know.
You're right, it doesn't make any sense.

Yet this is one of the takeaways from the Ferguson effect. People "care" much more when a white cop shoots an unarmed black guy. But hundreds of unarmed black guys have been shot this year alone by other black guys. VERY few articles have attracted any national attention because of this.

By the way, have you seen a new meme going around these days based on the movie "Straight Outta Compton"? For example, you can change your profile pic to this:

Seems cute, but I personally think the celebration of this thug culture is part of the problem.
