It will be interesting to see how this campaign plays out and what kind of "arguments" are brought against HC.

The big deal with the RW right now is the email thing. They are convinced that she broke laws and pretend that she endangered national security because she considers herself "above the law." That will be one of the central memes. And of course Benghazi. The latter is in a lull right now, "emailgate" as they've begun to call it (so creative, these guys are, as Yoda would say) has overtaken it. But it will come back, it is just on the back burner while Gowdy and his friends figure out the best line of attack and when to bring it. They don't want to bring too soon, no, that would be bad. They will probably bring it back right around convention time--they will probably want to rev up their base with "Murderess" accusations and or at least implications. If not outright murder, then certainly a horrible neglect in the service of Obama's political ambitions--after all, all she and Obama had to do was get reinforcements to the consulate and some military heroes would have saved those four brave men who were tortured and killed.

The outlines of the GOP campaign are already there. They will throw in a few more minor things, maybe one other major one TBA. But not too many--every Mad Ave person knows that an effective ad campaign needs to focus on two or three things at the most, most people can't deal with anything more than that, everything else is just brushed aside as irrelevant or acts as confirmation bias for the major theme of the campaign.

That is what Hillary's people will have to figure out how to confront and deal with. And really, it doesn't matter who the GOP candidate is--they will almost certainly say the same things about her.

Thanks for mentioning that. I'm going to try to catch that.
