I appreciate your feedback. Here are some tidbits I collected from newssources this weekend.

DELL is recommended in the January issue of Forbes.

CPQ and GTW are getting recommendations as well in other publications. CPQ is expected to meet or exceed its numbers this quarter. GTW has been given a target of $50/share and is cited as a takeover candidate for CPQ.

Milton Friedman (Forbes) thinks that deflation is not going to be a problem. It can be easily dealt with by increasing the money supply.
This has been a source of market uncertainty.

The only threat of recession that he sees would be an increase in inflation followed by an overreaction by the FED.
