Respond to of 1578288 As a teen and preteen, I picked peppers, apples, peaches, plums, and packed all of those plus cukes. Every summer for about a decade. Lots of young people in rural areas did that when I was young. The other non-teen workers were mostly winos and migrants - at the time non-Hispanic in my area. Then you know what grueling work it is. Of course, and I know Americans can and will do it. I did it.Until I moved to TX, all the office cleaning in the offices I worked in in IL and WV was done by white non-Hispanic women. Not these days. No, because so many illegals have come in and they'll work cheaper. That's how illegals hurt poor Americans. And then go work in a meat packing plant.......cutting up cows and pigs. All the meat packing jobs in this country were once done by white non-Hispanic people. The actor Tom Arnold was once a meat packer in Iowa. Meat packers were once middle class jobs in the Midwest .... meat packers owned bass boats and went to FL on vacation. Then they started importing foreigners and refugees to lower the wages. 'Once done' are the operative words. And they didn't lower the wages; they just stopped raising them. Again, that's because of all the illegal entry and my understanding they DID lower the wages ... that was the point. Then try working in a sweat shop..........I mean a clothing factory. Trying sewing 10 hours per day. See how that works for you. My aunt sewed all day in a shoe factory in my home town her entire working life. She thought it was a good job. Your aunt sounds like she must be very old. In the last 30 years, its a rare white American working in a sweat shop. She's dead now. But history beyond the last 30 years shows what is possible. Americans WILL do allthe jobs illegals do and they used to before the country adopted a pro-illegal policy. You will draw some American workers in......but you would have to double the wages at least. So? Let the wages double. See how that would be good for poor Americans? Do liberals take economics classes and learn about supply and demand?
