I have been one of Obama's staunchest supporters from day one - so I'm unsure what your point here is? Obama was a virtual unknown and he took on and beat Hillary the old vanguard of the party. I was just talking the excitement factor in getting votes - excitement works! It gets people to turn out and that turnout is what makes the difference. Zero excitement for your candidate and people just stay home.......... Sooooo, I agree Obama is one of the best presidents ever! And as I have repeatedly said, Bush is one of the worst.

And let's be fair- 200+ years of white guys, with nothing else, was pretty damn boring and exclusionary. So his being black really helped. I happen to think having a vagina will help Hillary. Unless the reps can really get Carly in there (which, given her background, would be horrible for them- more power to them)- I think the vagina excitement should not be underestimated. Steve may not care about vaginas. Hard to tell... But the women I know are excited about a woman president. They might not tell you, if you had a penis, because this might be a girls club secret- but we'd like a woman for a change. We've seen how badly guys can fuck up the free world- now it's our turn.
