WAS not that long ago that INTC was falling due to AMD's boasting that it would eat away at INTC's mkt share...Its K6 was supposed to be their engine of growth...looks like it has been a total flop and less than 50 % of their chips that are etched onto each wafer of silicon are up to snuff..Those that due make it are much slower than hoped fer...Intel has slashed prices now by over 50 % on pentiums so their goes AMD's price advantage.....Now we see why Andy Grove is the Man of The Year....sorry mr sanders....

Dennis,

I am not sure how long INTC product transition will take place. But this depends on the people or customers...

I bet even INTC can't tell you when honestly.

For one thing, INTC has lots of investments in small emerging technologies and if they can't make something they can always buy the company just like CSCO does.

Thanks for the advice and warning of caution but it is an investment. I don't expect this to be a momentum stock or give me a return just like that.

Today, INTC should some power on the upside. The market is still choppy to say the least.

Dennis,

I agree, I think it is definitely bearish right now...

I am sitting on the sidelines probably along with others...

There is no market leaders either..
