Bob, the quicklime system heats the container 75 degrees from its "start" temerature. For example, if you have a can of soup that is stored at room temp (75 deg), then the quicklime will heat the contents to 150 degrees in 5 minutes. If something such as baby food is kept refrigerated at 40 degrees, then the container will heat to 115 degrees in 5 minutes. It all depends on the "storage" temperature of the container, not the temperature in the atmosphere. If, for example, you buy a can of Campbell's soup, which is stored at room temperture in a store, and then take it outside where the temp. is 10 degrees F, the can will heat to 140 degrees in 5 min. (70 start room + 70 deg quicklime). However if the can is kept outdoors for a few hours, the contents of the can will get colder and thus will affect the overall heating of the can. I have not done too much numbers crunching as to Ontro's affect on KNIC's price as IMHO, it won't increase Knic's valuation substabtially. Knic's % ownership in Ontro, will be diluted to 12% after the Ontro IPO, so unless the IPO gains more than 200% on its inception, it will not have much of an affect on KNIC's valuation, since Ontro' total market cap will be about $40-50M. It will effect in that KNIC will record a non-operating gain of about $.35 in KNIC's first quarter to reflect KNIC's gain from it 600,000 initual investment in Ontro. Regards Juan
