Hillary fits your bill for fat chicks, she doesn't use your Laundromat.

Yes, I'm starting to think this election could be another loss by wide margins ... another major embarrassment for the Republican party. The base is increasingly unable put forward candidates palatable to the public at large. The far right, which has a huge number of deranged fringers, determines the candidates. Hillary is the perfect candidate; she has always brought out the far right derangement ... the hatred spills out so much the public gets a bad taste for the other side.

Don't get me wrong... the far left has its own share of deranged. But the party is not beholden to them. For example, Democratic support for Israel is undeniably strong and is rock solid, even though there are a large number of virulently anti-Israel nuts on the left. If this were the Republican party, there would be a government shut down to defund our aid packages to the Jewish state, candidates would face a litmus test in the debates on the matter, and those who answered wrong would be marginalized by the base.

Watching the Republican primary process, I believe the party is headed towards complete self-destruction and bitter defeat in the upcoming election.

I tend to agree..

..the only real question is whether Bernie's populist fervor can do her in again like Obama did last time

..either one of them will destroy, in the general election, whichever crippled republican finally emerges after selling out to the wingnuts in the primaries
