O/49er

believing in inate goodness, is the only hope to achieve with practice and skill betterment for all.

Yes 49er you have it. This is the starting point to evaluate that which is right. Closely followed by exchange (or the representations of exchange).

This is a fascinating thread.

Lifted Comment I'm copy/pasting from above URL:
As a first step, the IMF should require that China
and all other emerging economies be refused access to lending
unless they begin consistent provision of transparent data
in a timely manner. This would allow for more intensive
evaluation of their economies. Greater foreign
competition in the banking systems and formation of an
active and aggressive bond market would also provide
more external scrutiny.

my commentary:
Does anyone besides me see how violent the reaction of a closed society to the demands of IMF,( an outside agency w/the gold) will be to said demand for "FOREIGN COMPETITION" "PROVIDED BY MORE EXTERNAL SCRUTINY" of "TRANSPARENT DATA?"

HOW ARROGANT!!!
IMF=God?

I smell riots, chaos and more suicides...
terribly sad to watch a people go through the throes of change to capitalism...
when said bastion/example of capitalism is US, the world's LARGEST debtor nation,
with probably the most corrupt politico's the globe has ever seen...
and the day of the bigggggggg sale, ala Asian "dumping of goods"
is arriving
when consumer debt is at its absolute max and personal bankruptcies are
higher than ever...

Gonna take more than the "IMF" to turn this ship...

No wonder gold price looks attractive to Dollar based economies...

Besides PhilV and Keith's dialogue to which I posted the following:

...I cannot speak for others who exhibit pleas for love by their unskillful and malicious actions toward themselves and others.

You see, all actions are either from a place of love
or from a PLEA, spoken or mutely acted out
for love/acceptance/equality/betterment.

If we are all created inately depraved,
then what does that say about our Creator?

What does this have to do w/Gold and the XAU...
Only that this subject--
Who has the gold?,
Who wants it?
How much is there?
Where can I find some?--

ultimately originates from whether we will skillfully exhibit love
in our seeking & sharing gold,
or abuse others by withholding and leveraging it against them,
either nationally or individually
by imposition of some sort of "external transparency" of fiscal affairs
by some either equally inately depraved "know it all"
or equally inately good "loving neigbor."

(Tis add'l contextual material 4 those who ? MY philosophical postings t'day.)
