You're WAY off base....

You should work as a cop for a week and see what YOU would do....

It's SCARY to be a cop and you can't just say you won't have any problems just because you're a logical objective person. Many of the people you would be dealing with aren't going to share those attributes.

When did I say that cops were heroes?

I don't think they are heroes but I think they have a dangerous job.

The ONLY thing in your post of any substance is that thing about police departments NOT wanting to hire people with HIGH IQs.

When I said changing things will COST MONEY and take a while I was talking about getting people that are smarter and better trained to be police officers.

I'm not sure why you are so mad at me.....

Gee, tejek, Neither of us could be cops there. Your IQ is way too low and mine is too high. lol
It is good to know they don't take total idiots with low IQs onto the force.
Police Officers have a tough job. They must be confident and assertive and at the same time remain kind, careful and competent. Temperament and training is extremely important. We have all heard of the Wyatt Earp syndrome . It is easy to understand how the power, pressure and purpose of the job can make police officers susceptible to such. They walk a thin line and I have great respect for those who manage the balance. These make up the overwhelming majority of police officers.

I find the different attitudes toward police by Liberals and Conservatives interesting.
Liberals view police as a source of control and conservatives view police as a source of protection.
Of course, I would not expect you to understand the difference or even recognize the difference exists.

......they are not the heroes you think they are.

You're rabid anti-police rantings and rhetoric are pathetic, as is your legendary overwhelming white guilt. Get over both.....and then answer a simple question........asked multiple times.........

Are you calling the people here who report higher medical premiums and deductible liars? What's so hard about the question?
