Ed: I'll try anything, even share $$$$, but need some education. I was half serious with my offer to PTB, 100% serious if you want to be involved. I will be happy to put up the bucks, but as I understand it, buying/selling/selling short/puts/calls is the same as playing at the crap table in Vegas. I hate to admit it, but I don't know the game of craps, other than the basics, nor do I know the game of hedging when it comes to investments. The education will be appreciated, and for that, 50% of the profits. PTB may be eager to ruffle feathers on SI, by being a critic of the company and it's product. That approach just causes arguements and hard feelings. I prefer to harness the investment potential of his negativity in order to capitalize financially, should his predictions become reality. In this regard, my approach always has been to "protect yourself from all possible losses, than go for it" However, up to know I have just been betting on the come line, dealing in an unprotected position, in addition, I've missed some of the side bets. I'm much to impatient to just sit back and wait until the big Nextel dream comes to fruition, I want to place some side bets at the same time. You, Ed, have proven your prediction powers in this regard, but very closed mouth in your support detail. Yes, this is the more serious side of Al Gutkin, up to now I've just been participating in the general communication on SI, while in private life have been watching like a hawk and learning. Maybe kids with darts can do better at picking winners, but, study of selected stocks and thier movements can also produce winners. Now, step 2 of the learning process, hedging your position as a protecive device. That is what attracted me to PTB, he seems to know the procedure and has a plan. I'm interested in his support for the plan. Lots of people perusing this thread would love to know also, who is going to be the teacher? I'm willing to invest in learning! Any takers? Regards willing to invest in learning, Al
