Robert, It is convenient that the first part of Alans post is what shows and not the part that says that believes in Yeshua.The real issues here are that you are an Amelenialist and we most definitely are not in anyway under that doctrine. You can not support your doctrine well enough so you puff smoke about something you know will cause turmoil and distract from having to answer for your poor doctrine. Actually it is fine with me if you want to believe this way because when you stand before the Lord I won't be there only you and the same is for all of us. Just stating what we believe in a decent way is enough for us to pray for each other and let the Creator of the Universe defend His own Word at the time He chooses. I am totally sure he does not need any of us for this. Scripture says there are stumbling stones and if one of us falls on it the Lord Yeshua will uphold them. He takes responsibility for those who believe in Him and love others as He commanded. The love He commands is to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, visit in prison etc.. The term Christian is difficult for us because it is to broad and covers to many groups that are not what we wish to be affiliated with their doctrine such as Amelinialism.If I have the time I will go back and show everyone the many times Alan and I have stated that salvation is only in Yeshua period. GOT IT!!!!!!! What we are saying is from verses like this in Ezekiel 37:1-14 starting at verse 11 (NIV) Then He said to me: Son of man, these bones are the WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, They say, Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.(can't be Christians for they can not be cut off)Therefore prophesy and say to them:This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them. (When is this?)I will bring you back to the land of Israel, Then you my people will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT IN YOU and you will live and I will settle you in your own land, Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and have done it, declares the Lord. In the Acts 11:26 verse the Antioch Church was a Gentile Church and they chose to call the disciples Christian and if I had been with them and not the crazy groups around today Alan and I would be delighted to be called what they stood for. But when we witness to unbelieving Jews we in no way want them to associate us with your doctrine because it simply is not the doctrine we believe.I feel the verse in Revelations 2:9 shows that the Lord calls believers Jews because that is what they are grafted into but since they deny that root they are liars and of the Synagogue of Satan. Remember the only real difference we have is that I believe there will be an Earthly Kingdom Rule of Yeshua in Zion with His people Israel and the Chosen people of the Nations IN THE FUTURE not now. You have every right to believe this is the Kingdom of Messiah now but I also have the right to disagree with you. But for Yeshuas sake we should do this in a polite and considerate way. Continuous comments about Talmudic Judaism and Modern Judaism and the anti-Christ State of Israel are not polite and serve very little purpose other than to distract from the true disagreement of the time of the Kingdom. If you want to dog the non believing Jews you can use the Bible to find their sad blindness and separation from their Messiah.You will also see that Paul would give up his very relationship with the Lord for them to be saved, so Alan and I are trying to tell you that you are not going to win them with your strong opinions without words of love and concern and the acts of love that Yeshua requires. And this is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you. One of the problems of the law was its separation of law and love so now we can love the lawless and not demand they believe the way we do, but demonstrate it by feeding the hungry, clothing the naked etc... No one should ever say that Alan hates the Jewish people because I am sure we have given the Gospel to more Jews than most people and have shown it through love not self righteous criticism. Keep pouring out the verses since you take them out of context to suit your agenda they are always welcome for we truly love the Word of God and try our best to live what it says. 1 Cor. 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains but have not love I am nothing. If I give all my possessions to the poor and surrender my body to the flames but have not love I gain nothing. The next verse should be read in light of the posts here, Love is patient,(have not seen this here)love is kind(NOT here)It does not envy(we have replaced Israel)it does not boast etc.... I personally love all of you and believe for His sake we can accept that we do not have to agree. The scripture says to reason the scriptures together not offend each other with it. Nancy
