The conventional wisdom is that Lil' Kim is once again using "war" as a way to consolidate power and keep his subordinates and the citizens of North Korea in line.

But since I'm a "right-winger," I personally believe it's more than that now. I think Lil' Kim sees how well Iran's belligerence is paying off, and now he wants in on the action. Same with Cuba to a lesser extent.


Best to go with conventional wisdom............

There is little similarity between N. Korea and Iran. They operate in very different spheres and reality.
