I give Nader credit for helping to get the 1966 National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act passed, which has reduced the potential for safety related auto deaths. However, I was most impressed by him because he sued GM for invasion of privacy and won. GM sent investigators to try to dig up some dirt that would discredit Ralph. That wouldn't happen in modern times because GM has Obama to do their dirty work. I don't take myself too seriously though. I bought a used '62' Corvair in 1968 with the money I made at a summer job. I was careful on the curves.
