ed, yes but you need more than market share, you need to perform better than the company being purchased. If Compaq couldn't improve shareholder's performance then it isn't worth getting market share by buying it. Longer term they would get market share by outperforming the competition if they are abetter run company. There is the problem of having operations spread all over the country. The only way I see this is with a move out of Dakota and take a nasty one time charge. Pat
