You wouldn't find it strange to say goodbye to your son EARLY, before you really needed to go, and know that even if you came back, you would be on totally strange turf, and no one would probably even speak the same language? There are a whole lot of people who are fascinated by other times, forward and back, really. In the Bay Area there are hundreds of people who inact the Renaissance Faire every year who are absolutely fascinated by that time period in England, and get totally immersed in the fantasy. As I've said before, I like medieval times myself (before the Inquisition). P.S. I hope you didn't FREEZE anything important!!!!!!
