You sound like you know just fine what you are doing in the stock market, strategically speaking, MSB. I just think sometimes it is better to sit on the sidelines than buy on the way down.

I think there are a lot of people here whose portfolios started to go to pot when they discovered SI. There is so much information available it is overwhelming, and it is not always easy to sort out what is reliable, either. Plus, for people like me who were not that experienced with stocks to begin with, it turns the exhiliration of risk taking into sheer foolhardiness.

I'm glad you are making a point of spending time with S.J., as you were describing in that post the other day. She must have been a little surprised! Anyway, I missed some stuff when I was sick, but I have now at least read the entire thread.
