JR...you've got 2 things confused. I am asking people to name the portfolio of growth tech stocks that we will wind up with on this thread. So it's a naming contest. But thanks for giving us a suggestion. Unfortunately this is going to be for tech stocks only.

You say a stock is "expected" to be priced higher in 1998. Well, I talked to a guy I play hockey with tonight and he told me that some cheesy company where he works is going to IPO for 15 cents (I don't understand that one either)...but is "expected" to be $20 in a couple of years. Funny how people are all interested in expected stock gains but so little interested in the reasons for those gains.

For non-techstock value plays...they would find a better home for discussion on the thread called "Value Investing", started by Michael Burry.

And there are numerous threads for growth, including the CANSLIM thread. I am sure they all serve similar & overlapping if slightly different purposes.
