Human Life begins at conception "That is not a fact, it is just a rhetorical flourish. Life is already present at conception (and before). You don't really think that two dead cells join to form a living cell ?" Your level of basic dishonesty is breathtaking. Have you no shame in offering such nonsense as an excuse for killing unborn babies? It's clear enough to every major biology textbook that what begins life at conception is a new and unique Human Being. In scientific terms it is a new Human Organism that is genetically distinct from it's Mother. "I suspect that the phrase about life's beginning is really an attempt to conflate (confuse) the notion of life with the notion of a soul forming since everyone knows that self awareness certainly doesn't begin with conception." LOL! You are the one who keeps bringing up religious arguments in the face of the clear scientific facts that I have presented. Why do you hate science so much? What makes you believe that Human Beings who have not yet reached a completely arbitrary stage of Human development are thereby free to kill? You seem terribly, morally, confused. "As to twins, it is the exceptions that test the rules." More confused thinking on your part. The theoretical possibility of Twins, in no way alters the scientific fact that Human Life begins at conception.
